Dr. Sobhi Tawil, Director of Future of Learning and Innovation at UNESCO, visited the UNESCO Chair in Entrepreneurial Education at Zhejiang University on May 12, 2006.

The College of Education held a welcome ceremony and a meeting in the Education Building, Zijingang Campus, Zhejiang University. Professor Yue Kan, Dean of the College of Education; Professor Xiaozhou Xu, UNESCO Chairholder in Entrepreneurial Education at Zhejiang University; Professor Weihui Mei, Deputy Dean of the College of Education, Zhejiang University; together with other faculty members from the University, attended the event.

Dr. Sobhi Tawil introduced the mission and mandates of the Future of Learning and Innovation team. He highlighted the global significance and cooperation potential of AI education, digital learning, curriculum reform, and the UNESCO Chairs network. Professor Xiaozhou Xu presented the recent achievements and future development plans of the UNESCO Chair.

The meeting opened up new perspectives for the future development of the UNESCO Chair in Entrepreneurial Education at Zhejiang University, and particularly helped broaden its vision for global academic cooperation.
