ZJU Promoting Collaboration with University of Birmingham in Joint Program and Education Studies

The School of Education of University of Birmingham (U of B) paid a visit to ZJU’s College of Education from December 24 to 25, promoting the 2+2 joint program for undergraduates and collaborations in other aspects.  

Dr. Wendy Symes, admissions tutor for the School of Education, introduced U of B and the undergraduate programs in details. ”U of B has over 4,500 international students from 150 different countries, and the School of Education is rated 5th best in the UK and 25th best in the world. “ Wendy said. Furthermore, she explained the curriculum modules, application process, entry requirements, tuition and accommodation of the 2+2 education program. ” You will study your first 2 years in ZJU, and your second 2 years at the University of Birmingham, and you’ll graduate with a dual degree from the two universities.”
Dr. Wendy Symes visited College of Education on December 25 and had a discussion with the faculty of the College. The two sides exchanged in-depth views on curriculum development, scientific research and international summer camp, seeking further collaborations in the future. 
This November, ZJU’s College of Education and the University of Birmingham signed an agreement on "2+2" undergraduate program in Education Studies. Undergraduates of College of Education majoring in Education will have the opportunity to study 2 years in each university and graduate with a dual degree. This program is an important measure of expanding diversified channels for undergraduates to engage in internationalized learning.
