根据我院与多伦多大学达成的交流协议，拟选拔我院若干名16、17级本科生赴该校应用心理与人类发展学系进行科研实习（International Research Experience Program），该项活动计入第四课堂学分。项目具体信息如下：

【实习时间】

September 15^th � December 8^th 2019   (12 weeks)

【项目简介】

The Applied Psychology and Human Development International Research Experience Program is an immersive and enriching international academic experience, where students engage in research related to psychology and human development while being exposed to the Canadian student experience at Canada’s premier university. Highly competitive with limited enrollment, students will thrive in a dynamic and supportive academic environment and can enhance their application for a Master’s degree.

This research program is designed to give students an opportunity to engage in the process and philosophy of research in applied psychology, education, and human development, and to apply what is learned to analyze a relevant research problem. Students attend workshops and colloquium presentations. They will engage with faculty and doctoral students on some of the leading research taking place in the department. Students will have the opportunity to learn from faculty who are internationally-known scholars in their fields.

【实习内容】

Students will work with a faculty member to conduct a review of literature, pose and defend a research question, and to explore this question in their research proposal which will be the culminating outcome of this program.

Students have the opportunity to engage in a range of activities including:

•   ――Workshops in which faculty and doctoral students present their research and datasets and students are able to engage with the data to explore their particular research questions

•   ――Introduction to different research methodologies

•   ――Learning how to use the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS)

•   ――Shadow Assessments in which students can observe clinical assessments being conducted

•   ――Mental Health in the Classroom

•   ――ADHD

•   ――Special Education and Adaptive Instruction

•   ――Technology, Psychology and Play

•   ――Introduction to Neuroscience

【费用情况】

项目费：6000加元（含住宿费、科研实习费、健康保险费）

其他费用：往返机票、签证费、餐费等生活费等。

【项目资助】

多伦多大学资助500加元，同时将指导入选学生申请MITACS资助（3000加元）；浙大方面将按照学校相关规定提供不低于5000元人民币的资助（已受浙大对外交流资助的学生除外）。
