浙江大学教育学院将聘请英国布里斯托尔大学（University of Bristol）教育学院院长Justin Dillon教授开设原味课程“科研创新（科学与环境教育导论）”（课程编码：03192000）。该课程主要面向全校本科生，希望通过为期32课时的讲授和研讨，帮助学生了解国际科学与环境教育的发展趋向，形成进行相关研究的基本技能，培养科学素养和环境素养。该课程将在2015年7月20日-30日进行，上课地点为浙江大学西溪校区田家炳书院520会议室。

     狄龙教授毕业于伦敦大学，曾在伦敦国王学院（King’s College London）任教28载，长期担任科学与技术教育部主管。

狄龙教授共主持和参与研究项目50项，培养博士研究生30人。近5年来，狄龙教授共获欧盟委员会（European Commission）、美国科学基金会（National Science Foundation）、英国皇家学会（Royal Society）、英国经济与社会研究会（ESRC）等研究机构提供的经费400万英镑（4300万人民币）。

2013年狄龙教授获得北美环境教育学会授予“环境教育研究杰出贡献奖”，他所主持的Fibonacci Project被法国教育部长授予“欧洲之星”的称号。

    狄龙教授曾任欧洲科学教育研究学会（ESERA）的主席，在国际学术会议上共做主题演讲30次。他在18个国际期刊担任编委，目前为SSCI刊物《国际科学教育期刊》International Journal of Science Education和《环境教育研究》Environmental Education Research的责任编辑。

狄龙教授出版著作20本，其中《如何成为一名优秀的教师》（Becoming A Teacher）已经再版4次，其中文版已由人民教育出版社出版。狄龙教授在国际刊物发表论文100余篇，其中很多论文发表在Journal of Research in Science Teaching、International Journal of Science Education、American Educational Research Journal、Science Education、International Journal of Science and Mathematics Education、Environmental Education Research等顶尖SSCI刊物，其中论文“Convergence between science and environmental education”在美国《科学》（Science）刊物发表。
